Discover Stunning Plant Picks for the Whole Family

Mother’s Day Weekend

Saturday, May 9, 2026

9:00am – 2:00pm

Kitsap County Fairgrounds

The Kitsap County Master Gardener Foundation’s biggest fundraiser returns this Mother’s Day weekend. 2026 marks our 38th Annual Plant Sale serving the Kitsap gardening community.  This is a free, family friendly event that, in addition to plants, features gardening vendors, a children’s activity area, Great Plant Picks, and used gardening books for sale at $2 each.

Explore our vast selection of annuals, perennials, native plants, and veggie starts, all at great prices. Every plant purchase you make directly supports our demonstration gardens throughout Kitsap County, funds our “Ask a Master Gardener” booths, and fuels our Youth Education Programs and Community Outreach.

Large banners guide you through the hall, making it easy for you to navigate between native plants, veggie starts, Papa Paul’s Dahlia station and more.

At the Kids Corner, young gardeners will have an area of their own to purchase plants for $1 and participate in other garden-related activities. But leave pooch at home – per County rules, pets are not allowed in the President’s Hall; service animals excepted.

Hankering to rehabilitate a worse-for-wear Hosta, or just looking for some great plant deals? Head to Gambler’s Corner for great deals on not-so-perfect plants.

Hardy Fuchsia, a fan favorite over the past few years, will also be available for purchase.

Wondering whether that ornamental shade plant will thrive once you bring it home? Turn to our Master Gardeners for advice. They’ll be stationed at tables and roaming the hall throughout the day wearing a colored vest and their name tag. Need more information? Check the Plant Sale FAQs.

Did You Know?

Every fall, our Master Gardener Salvage Team collect, pot-up, and care for thousands of plants including familiar perennials and unique and hard-to-find ornamentals. The plants you will see at the Plant Sale have been grown and cared for by Kitsap Master Gardeners.

Master Gardeners have generously provided many of the veggie starts you’ll find available to purchase.

Have we inspired you to attend the Plant Sale?  Remember, this is a one-day sale, so plan to arrive early for the best selection!

Thank you to all our sponsors for their support of this year’s Kitsap County Master Gardener Spring Plant Sale!
